NEWS AND NOTES

ROUND TWO TONIGHT: The Sea Dogs and Trenton Thunder meet again tonight at Hadlock Field after the 'Dogs walked-off with a 5-4 win on a controversial RBI fielder's choice where Reed Gragnani was ruled safe on a force play at third base. Portland led 4-0 after the first, but Trenton eventually came back to tie the game in the top of the ninth on a bloop double by Danny Oh. Justin Haley gets the ball for Portland while Kyle Haynes moves up a day in the rotation after originally scheduled Trenton starter Eric Ruth was promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre yesterday.

#WALKOFFCITY: Portland's last four home wins and five of their last six have all been walk-offs. 35.7% of all the Sea Dogs' home wins in 2015 (5-of-14) have come via walk-offs. Plus, the Eastern Division won the Sullivan Tire All-Star Classic at Hadlock Field on July 15th with a walk-off home run by Brian Pointer in the Home Run Derby Shootout.
