Harrisburg Senators News Release

Backed by a tremendous outing from Casey Lawrence, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Harrisburg Senators, 7-1, Tuesday at Metro Bank Park. The Senators (48-49) have dropped three straight games since a four-game losing streak.

Lawrence, who was perfect through 6.1 innings, allowed a run on four hits in eight innings of work. The Senators lone run came on a Derrick Robinson RBI single in the eighth inning. Shawn Pleffner, who broke up the perfect game, and Matt Skole both singled while Pedro Severino hit his 11th double of the season.

Senators' starter Dakota Bacus struggled with his control Tuesday, throwing 43 of 80 pitches for strikes in four innings of work. Bacus allowed six runs (four earned) on six hits while walking four and striking out three. Wander Suero followed with a solid relief outing of three innings, in which he allowed a run on four hits while striking out three. Nick Lee pitched well, too, throwing two scoreless innings to finish the evening.

The Senators will try to salvage the three-game set tomorrow beginning at noon. The pregame show will begin at 11:45 a.m. on Fox Sports 1460am, iHeart Radio, and on Tune In.
