Schneemann and Noel Power Clippers to Saturday Victory

Columbus Clippers News Release
Long balls by Daniel Schneemann and Jhonkensy Noel propelled the visiting Columbus Clippers to a 7-5 defeat of the Louisville Bats on Saturday. The win gives Columbus a 3-2 edge in the series at Louisville Slugger Field heading into Sunday's finale.
Right-hander Adam Oller tossed 5.0 solid innings, allowing two runs on three hits with a pair of strikeouts. Nic Enright (1-0) was the winner with a scoreless inning of relief work.
Highly rated prospect Kyle Manzardo led the way with three hits for the Clippers including two doubles, raising his batting average to .278.
The series between the Clippers and Bats will conclude Sunday at 1:05pm. Columbus returns home on April 16 for Tansky Tuesday Dime-A-Dog Night. Tickets are available at ClippersBaseball.com.
