TOP TEAM: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre has vaulted themselves into first place in the International League riding a seven-game win streak. The RailRiders have a half a game advantage over Omaha who has played one more contest on the season.

SERIES SWEEP- SWB swept Norfolk on the road at Harbor Park. The last time the team won all six games in a set was back in 2022 when they swept Rochester on the road from July 26-31.

SAVED IT- The RailRiders have now gone have seven straight games with consecutive saves in the after going 0-5 in that category to start the season. This number is first in Minor League Baseball while the Yankees lead with nine total. Jake Cousins and Anthony Misiewicz lead the team with two saves recorded.

PITCHING PRESENCE- The RailRiders starters and relievers have combined for a 3.39 earned run average in the first 14 games of the season. It is the leading pitching staff in Triple-A baseball. SWB has allowed just 97 hits, fourth least, for 46 earned runs, the least. Starters hold a 3.67 ERA with relievers boasting a 3.21 ERA.

WALK THIS WAY- Scranton/Wilkes-Barre leads all of Triple-A baseball with 84 walks, second in Triple-A to Sugar Land with 88. Jose Rojas leads the team with 14 after having five multi-walk games. Thirteen total RailRiders have recorded at least two.

T.J, TIME: First baseman T.J. Rumfield gets the call up from Double-A Somerset to make his debut with the RailRiders. Rumfield was born in Richmond, Virginia, while his father, Toby, was playing in Triple-A for the Braves. His father was a second-round pick of the Cincinatti Reds in 1991 and spent 14 years playing professional baseball in the Braves, White Sox, Marlins and Cardinals organizations and coached TJ in high school. His father played alongside Aaron Boone and Mark Derosa. His mother, Kari, was a general manager in minor league baseball and went on to work for Cal Ripken for the Aberdeen Ironbirds (Orioles Short-Season Class-A) for several years. Rumfield grew up in the clubhouse with his father and going to games at the Ripken complex in Aberdeen. His full name is Toby Joseph Rumfield. He was traded from PHI along with LHP Joel Valdez to NYY for RHP Nick Nelson and C Donny Sands.

RUNNING ON YOU- The RailRiders have recorded the most steals in the International League with 33 on the season. They are led by Brandon Lockridge with a dozen who leads the league personally. Teammate Caleb Durbin follows with nine of his own.

BEETER BEST- Clayton Beeter was honored as the Pitcher of the Week for his performance in Norfolk. The righty allowed one hit and struck out eight batters over five shutout innings in the RailRiders 3-0 win on Saturday, April 13.
