
Schaumburg Boomers National Anthem Auditions Saturday May 12

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The Schaumburg Boomers are seeking talented individuals and groups to perform the Star-Spangled Banner at all 48 home games and three "O Canada" performers. Tryouts will be held at Boomers Stadium from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 and those interested must pre-register via email at info@boomersbaseball.com or by calling 847.461.3695.
The Boomers staff will evaluate the auditions along with special guest judges: Schaumburg Village President Al Larson and official mascot of the Boomers Coop the Boomer. Applicants must perform either the Star-Spangled Banner or O Canada on the field behind home plate for the panel and must be present at the their scheduled time.
The First Opening Night in Schaumburg Boomers history is slated for Friday, May 25 at6:30 p.m. and tickets are on-sale now by calling 847.461.3695, visiting www.boomersbaseball.com, stopping by the Boomers Kiosk at Woodfield Mall or dropping by the Boomers Box Office located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
