New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Pitcher Russ Savickas joins the Fisher Cats in Bowie. (Note- as of 5pm, uniform number not available---updated roster attached).
In 2007, Savickas started 6 games for Dunedin (High-A), going 2-2, 2.70. In 36.2 IP, he allowed 11 ER, walked 5 and struck out 22.
Toronto selected Savickas in the 9th round of the 2002 draft out of Johnston, RI (HS). He was born in Providence 7/30/83 (23 years old).
The Fisher Cat roster now stands at 24.
