Saturday's Amerks Game at Syracuse to be Televised in Rochester

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans road game versus the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, January 12 will be televised in Rochester and Buffalo on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. The game begins at 7:05 p.m. from War Memorial at Oncenter.
Saturday's television broadcast will be available to Rochester Time Warner Cable subscribers on Channel 98, as well as to Buffalo subscribers on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel Channel 25 (Buffalo), Channel 52 (suburbs) and Channel 713 (HD). Check local listings in your area.
Fans can also listen to Amerks Hall of Fame broadcaster Don Stevens call the game on Sports 1280 WHTK.
The Amerks host the Hamilton Bulldogs tonight (Friday, Jan. 11) at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. The Amerks and Urology Associates of Rochester are once again partnering to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer, and the Amerks will wear special-edition jerseys to promote men's health awareness during tonight's game. The game-worn jerseys will only be available through a silent auction to be held during the game on The Blue Cross Arena concourse, while other select game-issued jerseys will be available in the online portion of the auction. Following the game, the winners of the in-game auction will be able to take the ice and be presented with a "jersey off the back" from the Amerks players. Proceeds from the jersey auctions will go to www.ZeroCancer.org and The Lipson Cancer Center.
