Connecticut Whale News Release
Hartford, January 22, 2004 - The Atlantic Division-leading Hartford Wolf Pack play a pair of crucial divisional home games this Saturday and Sunday, January 24th and 25th, at the Hartford Civic Center vs. their divisional adversaries the Manchester Monarchs. Saturday's game features Jason LaBarbera Bobblehead Night and the Wolf Pack's annual Scout Sleepover and is a 7:05 PM faceoff. Sunday's contest faces off at 4:05 PM.
The first 2,004 kids 12 or under into Saturday's game will receive a bobblehead of the Wolf Pack's popular goaltender Jason LaBarbera, who is threatening the all-time AHL single-season shutout record in this 2003-04 campaign. The bobblehead giveaway is sponsored by Morande Ford/Acura. Also on Saturday night, Scout groups of 20 or more can take advantage of a special ticket discount rate of $12 each. Scout leaders can call the Wolf Pack ticket office at 860-548-2000 to order their Scout Night tickets and to register their scouts for all the fun of the annual post-game "Scout Sleepover" in the Civic Center's Exhibition Hall.
The Wolf Pack have also developed some new and exciting ticket promotion initiatives. The Lindsey Limousine Friday Family Value Night concept has been expanded. At all remaining Friday night home games, packages for families or groups of two or three will be available. A two-pack will start as low as $28 and a three-pack will start at $42, in addition to the existing four-pack starting at $56. All Family Value Night packages come with a choice of a Kayem hot dog or pizza slice, as well as a soda, for each ticket.
Also now available is a "Six-Pack" special. Buy the four remaining Wednesday home games (February 25th, March 3rd, March 10th and March 31st) and get two other games of your choice (best available seating), all for only $75, a savings of $57 off the total window price. Plus, every remaining Wednesday night is Bud Light Night. Bud and Bud Light beers will be available for $2 on the concourse, and you can meet the Bud Light Girls. Finally, fans coming to this Saturday's game can present their ticket stub from that game to the Civic Center box office and take advantage of a "buy one, get one free" offer for the Pack's home game this Sunday. This offer is only valid with the purchase of adult tickets to the Sunday, January 25th game and cannot be combined with any other offer.
Wolf Pack 2003-04 season-ticket, multi-game, coupon book and group-discount packages, as well as single-game tickets, are all currently on sale.
