
Mascot Madness: Chilly turns 7 Saturday

Houston, TX â Chilly, the Houston Aeros' official mascot, will turn seven (that's 49 in dog years) Saturday, and he'll celebrate with 10 of his closest friends at the team's 7 p.m. game against the Syracuse Crunch. Saturday is also Johan Holmqvist Bobblehead Night (3,000 will be given away), presented by Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Chilly has invited all Houston area mascots and expects to have the Astros mascots, the Tobacco is Foul Duck, Rice University, University of Houston and Mahatma Rice mascots on hand in addition to several others. They will all play broomball during the second intermission and Chilly will be presented with a giant birthday cake.
The Aeros also play home Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Cincinnati. It's "Two for One Tuesday," as the Aeros' $28 center ice seats will be buy one, get one free.
