
San Rafael Pacifics Welcome Sonoma County Grapes to Town August 6

MAUI (Aug. 4, 2012) - The San Rafael Pacifics and Sonoma County Grapes, Northern California's two premier independent baseball teams, are facing off for one last series this season, Monday Aug. 6, through Sunday, Aug. 12.
Monday, Aug. 6 is Back to School Night as the Pacifics host the Grapes at Albert Park in San Rafael at 7:15 p.m. kicking off the second to last series of the year for the Pacifics. The first 500 kids in attendance will get a Pacifics Back to School Kit, courtesy of Office Depot .
College Night continues on Tuesday, Aug. 7, as college students with a valid ID receive
50-percent off all General Admission tickets. Thirsty for more deals? Wednesday, Aug. 8 is
$3 Beer Night, with all Budweiser and Bud Light drafts discounted for the first four innings at the Stinson Beach Lounge, located on the third-base side of Albert Park.
Over the weekend, it's time for The Pacifics-Sonnen BMW Fan Fest, on Aug. 10, 11 and 12 .
Bradley Real Estate presents Pacifics Water Bottle Night on Friday, Aug. 10, with the first 500 fans receiving a stylish, reusable water bottle.
Also on Friday, fans 10-and under are invited to register for a pre-game Wiffle-Ball Home Run Derby . The winner will take home a bat signed by the 2012 Pacifics team! The competition is free to enter, but all participants will need a ticket to that day's game. Sign up at the Guest Services Desk by the front gate at Albert Park during any home game, beginning Aug. 6.
Saturday, fans 12-and under compete in a Long Ball Competition, with the winner take home a bat signed by the 2012 Pacifics . Following the Pacifics game - which starts at
5 p.m. - take some hacks in the All-Comers Home Run Derby . It's only $5 to enter, and the winner will take home a 43-inch flat screen TV, courtesy of Video Only . Right now, you can get two General Admission tickets and one entry into the derby for just $25.
Sonnen BMW Fan Fest Weekend concludes on Sunday, with a Celebrity Softball Game featuring Grammy-winning performer, MC Hammer, former Giants Bip Roberts and Jesse Foppert, Shooty Babbit, KNBR host Brian Murphy, and many more local celebs.
