San Jose Barracuda Host Online Ugly Sweater Jersey Auction to Benefit the San Jose Jr Sharks

SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@barracuda) and the American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that the club is auctioning off the remaining San Jose Barracuda ugly sweater specialty jerseys presented by Barracuda Networks during an online auction to benefit the San Jose Jr. Sharks organization on www.SJBarracuda.com.

The Barracuda sported the ugly sweater jerseys presented by Barracuda Networks during San Jose's 7-6 overtime victory over the Bakersfield Condors on December 5 at the SAP Center.

A portion of the proceeds of the online jersey auction will benefit the San Jose Jr. Sharks.

The online jersey auction to benefit the San Jose Jr. Sharks will run now through Sunday, December 20 at 5pm (Pacific) and consists of the following jerseys;

Karl Stollery

San Jose Barracuda game worn #3 San Jose Barracuda ugly sweater specialty jersey from defenseman Karl Stollery. The 28-year-old native of Camrose, Alberta recorded two assists in the ugly sweater jersey. Stollery has played in 12 games in the NHL with Colorado and San Jose and as of Dec 11 has five points (1-4-5) in 19 games this season for the Barracuda.

John McCarthy

San Jose Barracuda game worn #17 San Jose Barracuda ugly sweater specialty jersey from forward and alternate captain John McCarthy. The 29-year-old native from Boston, MA has played in 88 games with the San Jose Sharks recording six points (3-3-6). McCarthy has scored 66 goals with the Sharks AHL affiliates in Worcester and San Jose in his career. John was a co-captain of the 2009 National Champion Boston University Terriers.

Nikita Jevpalovs

San Jose Barracuda game worn #53 San Jose Barracuda ugly sweater specialty jersey from rookie forward Nikita Jevpalovs. The 21-year-old native of Riga, Latvia recorded 100 points (49-51-100) for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the QMJHL last season. As of Dec 11, Jevpalovs has seven points (2-5-7) in 20 games for the SJ Barracuda.

Petter Emanuelsson

San Jose Barracuda game worn #55 San Jose Barracuda ugly sweater specialty jersey from forward Petter Emanuelsson. The 24-year-old native of Kiruna, Sweden recorded two goals, added an assist, was +3, and was #2 star in the ugly sweater jersey. Emanuelsson won back-to-back Swedish Elite League Championships with Skelleftea AIK in 2013 and 2014. As of Dec 11, Emanuelsson has seven points (2-5-7) in 20 games for the SJ Barracuda.
