San Diego Gulls Recall Moldenhauer from Tuls

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled defenseman Scott Moldenhauer from the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL.

Moldenhauer, 24 (5/9/94), began the season with Tulsa and collected six assists (0-6=6) with a +7 rating and seven penalty minutes (PIM) in nine games. At the time of his recall, the 6-4, 225-pound defenseman led Tulsa in plus/minus, and led club defensemen in assists and co-led in points. A native of Oak Ridge, N.C., Moldenhauer earned 7-26=33 points with 101 PIM in 140 games for Western Michigan University (2014-18). Signed to a one-year AHL contract on July 12, 2018, Moldenhauer has yet to make his AHL debut.
