Hogs Host First Ever Hockey Fights Cancer Night Friday

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs return home to the BMO Harris Bank Center this Friday (Nov. 23) for an Illinois Lottery Cup showdown against the Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m. Friday's contest is the IceHogs' first ever Hockey Fights Cancer Night™ (HFC).

Time: Puck drop is at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Hockey Fights Cancer Night: Throughout the evening, the IceHogs will be honoring and recognizing those whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender to the game to join the support of the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative. "I Fight For" signs will be available in the Fan Zone to honor family, friends and loved ones who have been affected this terrible disease.

Jersey Auction: The IceHogs will don limited-edition lavender Hockey Fights Cancer themed jerseys for the contest, and the specialty sweaters will be auctioned off throughout the game, with proceeds benefitting SwedishAmerican Foundation. Fans will have several different options to bid on the Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys:

Fans in attendance can bid via blind silent auction in the concourse in front of the jersey wall behind section 123. The blind silent auction will close with 5:00 remaining in the second intermission.

Three jerseys will be available in the Brian's Trade Rite jersey raffle. Raffle tickets are $5 or six tickets for $25.

Three jerseys will be made available on the IceHogs app through DASH, an online auction platform. Biding will open on Friday at 4 p.m. and will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 24 at noon.

Three jerseys, including a customize-your-own, will be auctioned off on the IceHogs eBay page beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

LED Fan Giveaway: The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a free IceHogs LED fan, courtesy of SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Blues Flame Friday/Two-Buck Buds: All Friday home games during the 2018-19 season feature a pregame party in the Blue Flame Lounge, courtesy of District Bar and Grill, and $2 Bud Light beers, courtesy of 104.9 the X. This Friday, fans at the Blue Flame Lounge can enjoy the live music of Paul Heiser.

Gobble Up the Savings: The IceHogs are hosting a special Thanksgiving ticket deal, "Gobble Up the Savings" for Friday's matchup. For just $22, fans can purchase this package to receive one upper end zone ticket, one mini stick and a $5 food voucher for the game.

Fans can purchase a "Gobble Up the Savings" ticket package in-person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or by calling the IceHogs front office at (815)-986-6465.

BROVEMBER HAT AUCTION

As part of the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative, the IceHogs are auctioning off player-worn, autographed Brovember hats through the team's mobile app and DASH platform. Fans can bid on each hat until Saturday, Nov. 24, with proceeds benefiting Brovember Inc., a local non-profit which raises awareness about prostate cancer and men's health.

Auctions will conclude at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24. Fans can access the bidding option by opening the IceHogs app, tapping "More" at the bottom of the screen and "IceHogs Auctions" option on the popout menu. Auctions are currently live and feature 25 different player hats.
