SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Kevin Boyle to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Boyle, 26 (5/30/92), has gone 4-2-0 with a 2.87 goals-against average (GAA) and .920 save percentage (SV%) in seven games this season with San Diego. Boyle returns to the Gulls ranked seventh among AHL goaltenders in SV%.

Signed as a free agent on Mar. 30, 2016, Boyle has posted a 33-20-6 record with two shutouts, a 2.56 GAA and .922 SV% in 61 career AHL games with San Diego. The 6-1, 197-pound goaltender finished the 2017-18 AHL season ranked second among rookie goaltenders in SV% (.921), fifth in wins (19) and sixth in GAA (2.66).
