Bears Re-Assign Milner to South Carolina

(Hershey, PA) - The Hershey Bears announced today that the club has re-assigned goaltender Parker Milner to its ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays.

Milner, 28, started three games with Hershey, posting a 2-1-0 record with a 2.28 goals against average and a .931 save percentage. He stopped 30 or more shots in all of his three starts with Hershey. The netminder earned his first AHL win in over a year on Nov. 4 in a 2-1 win over Hartford, stopping 31 shots in regulation, and stopping all seven shots in the shootout.

Milner returns to the Stingrays where he was named the Warrior Hockey/ECHL Goaltender of the Year for his work in 2017-18, posting a 28-7-3 record with the Stingrays. His goals against average of 1.86 was the best in the ECHL,and the fourth best in league history.

The Bears return to the ice on Friday in Allentown for a 7:05 p.m. game versus the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The game will air on the Bears Radio Network and on AHLTV.
