San Diego Gulls Announce Roster Moves

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that defensemen Shea Theodore and Korbinian Holzer have been recalled by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate.

Theodore, 20 (8/3/95), has appeared in both of San Diego's games this season, collecting one assist (0-1=1) with a +3 rating. The 6-2, 195-pound defenseman has appeared in 15 career AHL games with San Diego and Norfolk, recording 4-7=11 points with two penalty minutes (PIM). Theodore, who spent the majority of last season with Seattle (WHL), was selected by Anaheim in the first round (26th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

Holzer, 27 (2/16/88), has also appeared in San Diego's two contests this season, going scoreless. The 6-3, 215-pound defenseman was acquired from Toronto in exchange for Eric Brewer and a fifth-round selection in the 2016 NHL Draft on Mar. 2, 2015. Holzer collected six assists (0-6=6) with a +3 rating in 34 games with the Maple Leafs last season and has yet to appear with Anaheim.

In addition, defenseman Andrew O'Brien has been reassigned to San Diego from the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL).
