San Antonio Rampage News Release

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Tuesday, March 22 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m. (CT)

The Rampage welcome Grand Rapids back to the AT&T Center to wrap up the season series with the Griffins. San Antonio has been the Central Division-leader's kryptonite this season, posting a 3-0-0- 0 record, two of which are shutouts, and outscoring the Griffins 9-2.

Grand Rapids held a 13-game win streak, which ranked only second to their 15-game win streak earlier in the season, going into Sunday's contest. The Silver and Black brought the Griffins' streak to a screeching halt with a 2-0 shutout for their ninth win at the AT&T Center. If San Antonio wins on Tuesday, it would be the first season sweep for the Silver and Black of the 2015-16 season.

Saturday, March 26 vs. Bakersfield Condors

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m. (CT)

San Antonio continues their four-game homestand when the Bakers- field Condors visit the Alamo City. The Rampage begin their week- end back-to-back against a team that they have found success against throughout the season. San Antonio is 4-1-0-0 against the Condors, while remaining undefeated at home against their newest divisional foe. Despite losing their leading scorer, Mikko Rantanen, who was recalled by the Colorado Avalanche, the Rampage look to continue their offensive success against Bakersfield. San Antonio is averaging 3.6 goals per game overall, and 5.5 goals per home game when facing the Condors.

Sunday, March 27 vs. Texas Stars

AT&T Center, 4:00 p.m. (CT)

The Texas Stars make their final trip down I-35 for a Sunday show- down with the Silver and Black. The two rivals have battled back and forth all season, with the Rampage sitting on a 5-5-2-0 record. San Antonio's power-play unit has been a large portion of the Rampage's offense, tallying 12 power play-goals on 50 opportunities (24%) with the man advantage in the season series. Joey Hishon and Maxim Noreau have collected a majority of their points against the Stars this season, combining for nine goals and 25 points. When these two divisional foes collide, they have combined for an average of 7.1 goals per game.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Face Off Against Kids Cancer Night

April 9 7 p.m.

Rampage vs. Iowa Wild

The Rampage will host their Face Off Against Kids Cancer buddies at the team's annual Face Off Against Kids Cancer night. The Silver and Black will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off follow- ing the game.

ICE CHIPS: Sam Henley - Rampage Center

Rampage center, Sam Henley, has been the driving force of the Rampage offense over the past two games. The 6-foot-5 lefty has recorded his first goal streak and point streak of the season when he lit the lamp against Ontario on Mar. 18, and hit the game-w inning goal on Sunday evening. Henley's game winner came early in the first period when he found himself on a breakaway during his penalty kill shift. The Quebec native went high glove side on the Griffins' goaltender and registered his first professional shorthanded goal.
