THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Jan. 19 vs. San Diego Gulls
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m. (CT)
The Rampage host the San Diego Gulls for the third time this season. It will be the fourth total matchup between San Antonio and San Diego, and the Rampage have posted a 0-2-1-0 record. Heading into Tuesday's game, San Diego only sits .027 win-percentage points ahead of the Silver and Black. Left wingers Michael Schumacher and Reid Petryk have found success against the Gulls this season. Schumacher has bagged a two goals, while Petryk tallied one goal and an assist in the series.
Friday, Jan. 22 vs. Bakersfield Condors
AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT)
The Silver and Black open a three-in-three with the Bakersfield Condors on Friday night. Both teams have faced off once this season, with the Rampage winning 3-1 on Jan. 8. Chris Bigras, Joey Hishon, and Borna Rendulic all found the back of the net,, while Petryk was busy dishing out helpers. Petryk tallied two assists and was the only Rampage player to finish with multiple points in the contest.
Saturday, Jan. 23 vs. Bakersfield Condors
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m. (CT)
San Antonio hosts the Condors for the second time this season, as the Rampage look to climb back into the playoff picture. The Condors current- ly sit fourth in the Pacific Division and are only .028 win-percentage points ahead of San Antonio.
Sunday, Jan. 24 vs. Texas Stars
AT&T Center, 4:00 p.m. (CT)
The Texas Stars make a trip down I-35 for a contest against the Silver and Black in the AT&T Center on Sunday afternoon. The Lone Star State rivals have seen each other nine times this season, with five remaining contests. San Antonio has recorded a 4-3-2-0 overall record and 2-2-0-0 home record.
MOVING ON UP: Calvin Pickard, Nikita Zadorov and Chris Bigras are the most recent Rampage players to be recalled by the Colorado Avalanche. Pickard, who was recalled on Dec. 26, has made seven appearances with the Avalanche recording three starts, 130 saves, .922 saves-percentage and his first career NHL shutout on Jan. 14 against the New Jersey Devils. Zadorov rejoined the Avalanche on Jan. 13, and has made 13 total appear- ances with Colorado since the start of the season. The rookie, Bigras, made his first transi- tion to Colorado and celebrated his NHL debut against the New Jersey Devils on Jan. 14.
He logged +1 plus/minus rating, two hits, and 13:43 of ice time in his first NHL game.
Bigras potted his first NHL point on Jan. 16 against the Columbus Blue Jackets when he assisted Chris Wagner's goal in the seventh minute of the second period.
NEW FACES IN SILVER AND BLACK: The Rampage have had a handful of new faces skating in a silver and black sweater after recent transactions. San Antonio has recalled Alex Belzile from the Fort Wayne Komets and signed Brandon Higgs to a PTO contract.
The Rampage also received Avalanche defenseman Brandon Gormley after Colorado recalled Zadorov and Bigras. Gormley made 26 appearances with the Avalanche and rec- orded one assist and eight penalty minutes.
