THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, April 16 vs Texas Stars
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage and Stars will square off in the 12th and final time this season on Tuesday night. On Sunday, Texas claimed an 8-2 victory over the Rampage at AT&T Center to claim the South Division crown for the first time in franchise history. Texas has cashed in on the power play in five straight games against the Rampage, going 8-for-23 in that span.
The Stars have won three of their last four games and own a 9-0-1-1 record against the Rampage this season.
Friday, April 19 vs Rockford IceHogs
AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m.
The Rampage and IceHogs will meet for the first time since San Anto- nio's Pink in the Rink Night on Feb. 1, in which the Rampage claimed a 1 -0 victory at AT&T Center. Rockford won the first two games of the sea- son at BMO Harris Center in October. The IceHogs are currently holding the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference with 83 points, two points ahead of both Milwaukee and Chicago. However, both clubs chasing Rockford have played two fewer games. The IceHogs sport the second best road power play in the league (33-for-146, 22.6%).
Saturday, April 20 vs Houston Aeros
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
San Antonio wraps up the 2012-13 campaign on Saturday in the club's annual Fan Appreciation Night. The Rampage are 3-2-0-0 against the Aeros at AT&T Center and 4-6-1-0 overall against Houston in 11 meet- ings. The Aeros power play has been deadly against the Rampage this season, going 14-for-64 in 11 games. Justin Fontaine leads the Aeros against the Rampage this season with 13 points (four goals, nine as- sists) in nine games this season.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT GAME - April 16
Fans can purchase a game ticket, unlimited hot dogs, nachos, soda, peanuts and popcorn all for only $20 for the Rampage's game against the Texas Stars on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at AT&T Center.
KZEP DOLLAR DRINK NIGHT - April 19
Every Friday night fans can get $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda during the Rampage game.
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT - April 20
The Rampage will salute the best fans in the AHL by awarding prizes during the team's Fan Appreciation Game and regular season finale presented by Macy's at 7 p.m. on Saturday against the Houston Aeros. LAST WEEK: San Antonio finished the road portion of their schedule last week with two games in Houston and will wrap up the 2012-13 campaign with three games at AT&T Cen- ter this week. San Antonio posted a 13-21-2-2 record on the road this year.
WHAT A GUY!: Justin Vaive was named the team's winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award for his outstanding contributions to the San Antonio communi- ty. Vaive participated in several of the organization's community initiatives, including Team Up Challenge, Stick with Reading and Face-Off Against Kids Cancer.
HE'S COMING BACK: The Rampage have signed netminder Dov Grumet-Morris to a one- year contract extension last week. Grumet-Morris, 31, owns a 12-20-4 record this season and a 3.10 goals against average and a 0.907 save percentage.
ICE CHIPS: Jared Gomes-Forward
Rookie forward Jared Gomes is on a three-game point scoring streak (two goals, one assist) for the Rampage and has lit the lamp in back-to- back games. Gomes has tallied 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in his first professional season after playing the last three seasons at the University of Prince Edward Island. Gomes' 30 points is also good for second high- est on the club's active roster, behind only Jon Rheault's 45 points.
Gomes also leads the team with 70 games played this season.
