Abbotsford Heat News Release

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have reassigned centre Ben Street to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. The reassignment is due to the termination of emergency conditions as it applies to Street's recall.

Street played 10 minutes of ice time with two shots on goal in Saturday night's 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers. Street is in his first full season with the Abbotsford Heat where he is second on the team in assists (21) and third in goals (15) and points (36) in 67 games played. He played two games for the Flames earlier in the season when called up on February 8th and made his NHL debut on February 9th in Vancouver. Street joined the Flames organization after signing as a free agent on July 2, 2012.
