THIS WEEK'S GAMES Tuesday, March 7 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins AT&T Center, 7 p.m. (CT) The Silver and Black conclude their season series against the Grand Rap- ids Griffins on Tuesday night. During his Rampage debut on Friday night, forward Brendan Ranford contributed one goal and one assist, tying Rocco Grimaldi as the top Rampage scorers against the Griffins. In addition, the Rampage penalty-kill unit stopped six of the seven Grand Rapids power- play opportunities.

Sunday, March 12 vs. Cleveland Monsters AT&T Center, 3 p.m. (CT) San Antonio will host the Cleveland Monsters for the first time this season on the front end of their weekend three-in-three, which begins on Sunday afternoon at the AT&T Center. The Rampage swept the last two-game series against the Monsters during their first road trip of the season on Oct.

27 and 28 at Quicken Loans Arena. Netminder Spencer Martin played between the pipes during both games, registering a 1.51 goals-against average and a .946 saves percentage. THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE 2016-17 SCHEDULE/RESULTS Rampage forward Brendan Ranford contributed three points in his week- end debut with the Rampage. In his first game with the Silver and Black, the second-year pro tallied one goal and one assist for his first multiple- point game since suiting up with the Texas Stars on Jan. 11 against the Ontario Reign. Ranford scored his first point, an assist, against his former team on Sunday afternoon. ICE CHIPS: Brendan Ranford- Rampage Forward WESTERN CONFERENCE STANDINGS A LOT OF R & R: Rampage forwards Rocco Grimaldi and Brendan Ranford led the Rampage in scoring this weekend, each collecting three points in two games.

Grimaldi contributed two goals and an assist on the weekend, including a team-high ninth multiple point-effort on Friday night. Grimaldi ranks fifth among league scorers in goals, tallying 23 to date. Ranford and Grimaldi each earned the Third Star of the Game on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

COMPHER MAKES NHL DEBUT: Forward J.T. Compher made his NHL and Ava- lanche debut on Thursday, March 2 during Colorado's game against the Ottawa Sen- ators. In total, Compher has appeared in three games with the Avalanche, registering 38:56 minutes of ice time with 5:35 minutes coming on the power-play unit.

TRADE DEADLINE RECAP: With the completion of the NHL trade deadline, the Rampage saw new and familiar faces in the lineups this weekend. The Avalanche and the Rampage acquired goaltender Joe Cannata from the Washington Capitals in exchange for defenseman Cody Corbett, as well as forward Brendan Ranford from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for forward Joe Whitney. Cannata and Ranford were both reassigned to San Antonio. In addition, the Rampage loaned forward Mike Sislo to the Toronto Marlies and acquired forward Colin Smith from the club for future considerations. Smith last played with the Rampage during the 2015-16 season when he ranked seventh in scoring, contributing 34 points, including 13 goals and 21 as- sists, in 54 games.
