Sam Klassen Loaned to Portland

Greenville, S.C.: The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced today that defensemen Sam Klassen has been loaned to the Portland Pirates.

Klassen, 25, has played 42 games for the Road Warriors this season registering one goal, nine assists and a +5 rating. This is the second time this season Klassen has been loaned to an AHL team after being loaned to Hartford in December. He played nine games with the Wolf Pack and tallied one goal and one assist before his return to Greenville in January.

The Road Warriors are back in action tonight at 7:00 p.m. when they look for redemption against the Orlando Solar Bears. The Warriors want fans to BLEED BLUE! Fans who wear Warrior Blue to tonight's game can receive $2 off of BLUE level tickets at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena Box Office. Tonight's game is presented by BB&T. The first 1000 fans 12 and under will receive a Road Warriors Blue Youth Jersey courtesy of Fox Carolina and B93.7.
