Lincoln Saltdogs News Release

LINCOLN, NE - The Lincoln Saltdogs reached an historic milestone on Tuesday, as they saw their two millionth fan come through the gates at Haymarket Park. Saltdogs fan Chuck Horton was honored as fan number two million.

"Tonight is a very special night for us," said Saltdogs general manager Tim Utrup, "and we wanted to make it extra-special for our two millionth fan as well. Our great sponsors really helped us step up and properly honor Chuck for being Saltdogs fan number two million. I know he's thrilled, and we're thrilled for him. We also want to thank all the fans who have come to Haymarket Park over our ten seasons to support Saltdogs baseball."

For being the two millionth fan to come see the Saltdogs play, Horton received a large prize package that starts with two club level full-season tickets for the Saltdogs' 2011 campaign. He also received a VIP parking pass for 2011, a free SkyBox rental for one 2011 game, the opportunity to throw out a first pitch before a Saltdogs game, and a selection of Saltdogs merchandise and team-autographed items. In addition, Chuck also won $100 in scratch tickets from the Nebraska Lottery, a brand-new Blu-Ray player from Schaefer's, a $100 gift certificate from T.O. Haas Tire, a $25 gift certificate from Runza, free Pepsi products and a gift certificate for Angus Beef from Super Saver.

"It's unbelievable," Horton said. "It's going to be a great time to come with the kids next year, and really sit down and enjoy some family time together."
