
Salt Lake Rallies by Redbirds

MEMPHIS, TN - Salt Lake used a five-run rally in the sixth inning to beat Memphis 8-2 Tuesday night at AutoZone Park.
The Bees sent nine men to the plate in the sixth scoring all five runs with two outs. Luis Figuroa's RBI-single ignited the rally with Terry Evans' two-run single capping the rally. Figueroa finished the night with three hits and two RBI to lead the Bees. Mark Trumbo's two-run homer in the fourth gave Salt Lake an early lead. Memphis tied the game in the fifth on Adron Chambers' sacrifice fly but did not advance a runner past second base after the fifth.
Salt Lake starter Eric Junge earned the win turning in seven solid innings. The right-hander allowed two runs, one earned, on four hits for his fourth win. Ryan Kulik took the loss giving up six runs, two earned, on six hits in three innings of relief. Memphis starter Evan MacLane allowed two runs on five hits across five innings in his first start since being activated from the disabled list.
