October 11, 2015 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release
Make it four straight wins for the Ottawa 67's, which completed a sweep of a three-games-in-three-days weekend on Sunday in Owen Sound with a 7-5 victory over the Attack in Ontario Hockey League action.
The three victories includes back-to-back winning efforts on the road. After beating the defending Memorial Cup champion Oshawa Generals at TD Place on Friday night, the 67's travelled to Barrie on Saturday and blanked the Colts 4-0, followed by Sunday's win in Owen Sound.
After started sluggishly with three straight losses, the 67's have rebounded and will carry a 4-3-0-0 record into next weekend's odometer-busting road trip to Windsor and then into Michigan for games in Flint on Saturday and Saginaw next Sunday.
Dante Salituro had a breakout game for the 67's in Owen Sound, scoring three times in the third period and leading his squad with eight shots. Salituro now has nine points in five games since returning from NHL camp with the Columbus Blue Jackets as an undrafted free agent.
Nathan Todd, Artur Tyanulin, Trent Mallette and Ben Fanjoy also scored for Ottawa.
Liam Herbst went the distance in goal for the 67's and collected his second victory of the season, facing 37 shots.
The 67`s are back at TD Place on Wednesday, October 21 against the Mississauga Steelheads for a 7 p.m. face-off.
