
Rush Sign Goaltender Terry Dunbar

(Rapid City, SD) - This afternoon, the Rapid City Rush announced the signing of goaltender Terry Dunbar. Dunbar joins the Rush after playing for the Twin Cities Cyclones of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). The Rush take on the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and Allen Americans this weekend at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Tickets are still available for both games.
Dunbar, 31, appeared in 22 games for the Rocky Mountain Rage in the 2007-08 season where played alongside current teammates Scott Wray and Colt King. In that season, Dunbar went 9-8-2 with a 3.56 goals-against average and .891 save percentage. Dunbar's previous stint in the CHL came during the 2005-06 season where he dressed in 19 games for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. While in South Texas, Dunbar earned an 8-7-2 record with a 3.06 gaa and .891 sv%.
Most recently, the Duluth, Minnesota native skated with the Twin City Cyclones of the SPHL where he finished with a 10-19-2 record in 32 games.
