RAIN FORCES FIRST DOUBLEHEADER: Just one night after a delayed start at NYSEG Stadium, Binghamton and New Hampshire were rained out. Friday's postponement forces the Rumble Ponies first doubleheader of the season on Saturday. Last season, Binghamton was never swept in a doubleheader, splitting nine and sweeping five.

PONIES RUMBLE BACK IN SERIES OPENER: Despite taking an early 3-0 lead, Binghamton needed four-run fifth inning to grab the lead back and win 10-6 Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium. Mickey Jannis won for the third time in as many Eastern League starts this season, while Tim Tebow went yard for the first time since opening day.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Scott Copeland makes his second start with Binghamton after being signed as a minor league free agent by the New York Mets two weeks ago. The 30-year-old tossed 5.1 innings of one-run baseball in his debut at Erie, earning the win. Copeland was yanked in the sixth inning after throwing just 70 pitches.

ALONSO EXTENDS HIT STREAK: 1B Peter Alonso picked up a fifth-inning single on Thursday to extend his hitting streak to a league-best 11 games. During that stretch, Alonso is hitting .500 with 5 HR, 12 RBI & an OBP of .623.

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE: Thursday's hour and 49 minute delay before first pitch was the longest delay of the season.

GREAT SCOTT!: Prior to his first Rumble Ponies start, RHP Scott Copeland had not appeared in an Eastern League game since 2014 as a member of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. He posted an 8-8 mark over 27 appearances (22 starts) and faced the B-Mets three times that seaon. Copeland would make his Major league debut in 2015.

STARTERS STRUGGLES: Despite RHP Mickey Jannis picking up the win on Thursday, Rumble Ponies starting pitching has allowed a home run in four straight games. Jannis, Andrew Church, Nabil Crismatt, an Marcos Molina combined to give up 20 runs over 21.0 innings with five home runs over the stretch.

GREAT OVER EIGHT: Binghamton has won six of the last eight games to climb to two games over .500. Binghamton topped New Hampshire in a rubber game at NYSEG Stadium before a 4-2 road trip, only to return home to see the Fisher Cats again.

RALLYING RUMBLE PONIES: Thursday's comeback win marked the second time in the last three days that Binghamton has scored seven runs after the fourth inning. The Ponies used a four-run ninth on May 1 at Akron for a late-game comeback as well.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies finish their four-game set with the Fisher Cats on Sunday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium. RHP Nabil Crismatt duels with RHP Nick Tepesch with first pitch at 2:05 PM.
