Today, the SeaWolves and Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) will continue their five-game series at People's Natural Gas Field. Yesterday, the SeaWolves snapped a three-game losing streak, taking down the Curve in game one of the doubleheader 6-2. Game two was suspended in the bottom of the third inning with the SeaWolves trailing 3-1. That game will be completed today and the two teams will play a second, seven inning game...In the regularly scheduled game, righty Beau Burrows takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his fifth start and second against the Curve. Burrows took a loss in his first start against the Curve at PNG Field on April 23 allowing five runs, four earned, on six hits with three walks and a strikeout in 4.1 innings. Burrows earned his second win of the season in his last start against Bowie on April 30. In the game, he allowed two runs on seven hits with a walk and six strikeouts in a season-high six innings of work. Erie won the game 6-2...Righty J.T. Brubaker takes the mound for the Curve in game two making his sixth start and second against the SeaWolves. He beat the SeaWolves on April 23, firing seven shutout innings, allowing three hits with a walk and six strikeouts. Brubaker earned a win in his last start against Richmond tossing a season-high eight innings, allowing a run on six hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.
