THIS AFTERNOON: The Rumble Ponies close a 4-game series against the Thunder at ARM & HAMMER Park. The Ponies are just a half game back of Trenton in the Eastern Division after their 3-1 win Saturday night. The Thunder won the first two games of the series: 5-4 Thursday night and 6-2 Friday evening. It is Binghamton's only visit to New Jersey this season.

REHAB START: Mets LHP Jason Vargas makes the Rumble Ponies first rehab start of the year. Vargas is recovering from a hamstring injury. For the Mets in 2019: the 36-year old is 1-2 with a 5.92 ERA on the year in 6 starts.

WHAT A WEEK FOR 'ZEKE': After his team-high 15-game hitting streak was snapped Friday night...Patrick Mazeika immediately responded on Saturday with a solo homer in the 4th inning that tied the game at 1. That marked his 5th home run in the course of a week, after not having any before last Saturday (5/11), He also had the go-ahead RBI double in the seventh, finishing 2-4 with 2 RBI.

JANNIS COMES BACK WITH A VENGENCE: Mickey Jannis made his first start since being activated off the IL Saturday night and his first start for the Rumble Ponies since April 30th. The knuckleballer allowed only one run and five hits over seven innings, getting his second win of the year at Double A.

GILLIAM'S SCORELESS RUN CONTINUES: Ponies right-handed reliever Ryley Gilliam pitched two scoreless frames in last night's win, getting his first save of the year at the AA level. Gilliam has not allowed a run in his last 3 outings, going two innings in each appearance. The 22-year old has lowered his ERA to 1.80.

PONIES LOCK IT DOWN WITH THE LEAD: With last night's win, the Rumble Ponies are now 11-0 this season when leading after seven innings, and 12-0 when leading after 8

HISTORY AGAINST TRENTON: Last year the Rumble Ponies went 6-8 in 14 meetings with the Thunder.

THUNDERING INTO THE PLAYOFFS: Last year, the Thunder reached the Eastern League playoffs before falling to eventual champion New Hampshire in the first round. The Thunder won the Eastern Division with a 79-61 record.

COMING UP: The Rumble Ponies continue their seven-game road trip heading to Bowie to face the Baysox in a three-game series that begins Monday night.
