Red Deer, AB - The Victoria Royals tallied four markers in the third period to knock off the Red Deer Rebels 6-2 on Saturday night at ENMAX Centrium.

In Victoria's previous 23 contests, the club holds a record of 19-2-2-0 and have extended their winning streak to five games.

Victoria's Tyler Soy scored the game-winner early in the third period to break a 2-2 tie. Joe Hicketts registered two markers and Matthew Phillips also scored in the frame to secure the victory for the Royals. Victoria and Red Deer exchanged a pair of goals in the opening 40 minutes. Vladimir Bobylev and Jack Walker scored for the visiting team, while Michael Spacek and Luke Philp tallied for the Rebels.

Royals' goaltender Coleman Vollrath turned away 15 of the 17 shots he faced on the night. Rebels' netminder Trevor Martin stopped 25 of 30 shots.

Victoria posted a 1/714.3% mark on the powerplay, while Red Deer went 0/20.0% on the man-advantage.

The Royals will conclude their three-game Alberta road-trip on Monday morning in Edmonton for a clash with the Oil Kings. Puck drop is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. PST for Edmonton's seventh annual Hockey Hooky game.
