
Royals' Patrik Polivka Named Tip Top Tailor-Made Player of the Month

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that goaltender Patrik Polivka has been selected as the Tip Top Tailor-Made Player of the Month for September.
The 18-year-old posted a 2.92 goals against average and a 0.886 save percentage en route to a 3-0 record during the month. Polivka's quick start to the season was highlighted by a 23 save performance in a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Giants in the Royals' home opener on September 22nd.
"Patrik had a very good month for us," General Manager Cameron Hope said. "He is getting more comfortable in the WHL and his skills are beginning to shine through."
A native of Plzen, Czech Republic, Polivka also posted two wins to go along with a 1.27 goals against average and a 0.966 save percentage in September during the 2012 WHL Pre-Season.
