Notes:

Season Series Recap: Tonight's game was the fourth and final regular season meeting between the Portland Winterhawks and Victoria Royals. In those contests, Victoria posted a record of 1-1-2-0 with three of the four contests being decided in overtime. Brayden Tracey led the way in team scoring against the Winterhawks with five points (2g-3a).

Injury Report: Victoria was missing four regular players due to injury in tonight's game: starting goaltender Shane Farkas, defenceman Noah Lamb, and forwards Graeme Bryks and Riley Gannon.
