Americans Struggle to Find Offense in 8-1 Loss to Blazers

KENNEWICK, WA - The Americans kicked off a doubleheader against the Kamloops Blazers tonight at the Toyota Center.

The Blazers dominated early scoring seven goals before a reply from the Americans.

Krystof Hrabik netted Tri-City's only goal tonight. The goal came on the power play assisted by Nick Bowman and Jadon Joseph at 14:07 second period.

Tonight was Hrabik's first game since he suffered upper-body injury on January 28th in Seattle.

Mason Dunsford started in net for the Americans, but was relieved mid-second period after Kamloops' fifth goal. Talyn Boyko played the remainder of the game before Dunsford returned for the third period.

Score: 8-1 KAM

Shots: 49-17 KAM

- The two teams will wrap up their head-to-head series tomorrow at the Toyota Center. It's a Tidbits Family Night. All youth and teen tickets are only $5 when purchased at the Toyota Center Box Office. There will be kid packs available at concessions for only $6 and a table of free gifts for kids on the concourse. All Sunday games start a 4:05 PM.
