First Game: Terrace, BC native Carson Golder played his first career WHL game tonight for the Royals. The 2002 born defender was recently called up to the Royals from the Pursuit of Excellence Prep team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League. He was listed and signed by Victoria this past offseason.
Hometown Talent: Tonight, the Royals played against Victoria native Tyler Preziuso. The 19-year-old forward was teammates with Royals' forward Tanner Sidaway during the 2014-15 season, where the pair played for the South Island Royals of the British Columbia Major Midget League (BCMML).
Coming Up: On Monday night, the Royals will continue their road trip with a contest against the Kootenay ICE. Puck drop is at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
