
Hurricanes Defeat ICE 8-4

Cranbrook, BC - Lethbridge Hurricanes forward Jake Leschyshyn recorded five points in an 8-4 victory over the Kootenay ICE on Saturday night at Western Financial Place.
The Hurricanes also received goals from Nick Henry, Danila Palivko, Dylan Cozens, and Calen Addison. Goaltender Bryan Thomson stopped 33 shots to collect his first ever WHL victory.
The ICE received goals from Brad Ginnell, Jaeger White, Cole Muir, and Jakin Smallwood. Peyton Krebs registered three points, all assists, and in doing so reached the milestone of 100 career WHL points. Goaltender Duncan McGovern blocked 17-of-24 shots in 40 minutes of work, while Jesse Makaj stopped 6-of-7 shots in the third period.
