Tonight...

The Saskatoon Blades continue their 9 game stretch through the East Division opening up a home & home series with the Swift Current Broncos. It's game 3 on the season series between the Blades and Broncos. Saskatoon is looking to snap out of a 3-game winless skid (0-1-2-0) while the Broncos try to string together a third straight game with a point (1-0-1-0). Saskatoon will be without one of their top defenders as 20-year-old Brandon Schuldhaus was assessed a 1 game suspension as a result of a kneeing major on Friday night in Prince Albert.

Head to Head...

The Blades lead the season series 2-0 thanks to a weekend sweep on season opening weekend back in September. Saskatoon edged the Broncos 2-1 in their last trip to Swift... then skated to an 8-0 win the next night in Saskatoon at the home opener. Kirby Dach (3G-4A) leads the Blades offense in the series... Nolan Maier has both wins in net including 1 shutout. Former Blade Alec Zawatsky has 1 point vs Saskatoon... Joel Hofer has made both starts for the Broncos.

Who's hot......

Gary Haden has 8 points in his last 5 outings. Dawson Davidson is riding a 5-game point streak (1G-4A) and currently sits 3rd among all defensemen in WHL scoring with 36 points. Kristian Roykas-Marthinsen (WSH '17) is also on a 5-game point streak and has points in 8 of his last 9GP.
