Steak Snapped: Tonight's loss snapped Victoria's 10 game winning streak against Prince George that dated back to last season. Previously, the Cougars hadn't won against the Royals since their last Teddy and Toque Toss on December 2, 2018.

Between the Pipes: Tonight's match-up marked the end of Royals' goaltender Shane Farkas's eight-game winning streak that dated back to November 9th. This win streak tied alumnus Patrik Polivka's franchise record of eight consecutive starts with a win.
