Robbie Holmes gave the Pats their first lead of the game, 6:08 into the final period, on a shot from the right circle, his 13th and it was 4-3. Winnipeg found a tying goal with 2:50 remaining to force overtime and then a shootout. Connor McClennon scored the lone goal of the shootout and the ICE took the extra point in a 5-4 final.
