Last time they met: The Blades drove up to Prince Albert on October 4th and came away with their second OT win at the Art Hauser Centre of the season. The final score read 2-1 as Aidan De La Gorgendiere scored his first WHL career goal before Chase Wouters won the game in the extra period. Nolan Maier made 36 saves from 37 shots in the win.
What it means for the Blades: Finishing the first half of the season on a high note and, ever important, beating the pesky PA Raiders.
The stat: 2 - the Raiders have only lost six games at home and two of those are against the Blades - both of them in overtime.
The match-up: Nolan Maier vs. Boston Bilous - two of the leagues' heavyweight goalies, in terms of minutes played, will likely square off for the fourth time this season. All previous encounters between have been one goal games.
It's a big night for: Tristen Robins - last year's Teddy Bear Toss winner has been in good form of late, with five points (1G-4A) in his last four games. Should Robins' streak continue, it will bode well for both his draft stocks and the Blades.
PCL Construction Teddy Bear Toss: bring a teddy to toss or buy one on the concourse for a minimum of a $2 donation - once the Blades score their first goal let the fur fly!
Mosaic Family Skate: Bring your skates to the game and hop on the ice with the Blades post-game. Fans will have the opportunity to have players sign items, take photos or just chat with all players from the team.
