Super Soy - Royals' veteran Tyler Soy skated in his 320th career WHL game tonight, which tied the franchise record for most career games played. Former captain Ryan Gagnon set the original record when he played in 320 games for the Royals from 2012-2017.
Record Watch - Royals' netminder Griffen Outhouse tied the single-season franchise record for most wins in a campaign at 34 tonight. The current mark was set by Outhouse when he recorded 34 victories during the 2016-17 season.
Mr. Clutch - Victoria forward Tanner Kaspick recorded his ninth game winning goal of the season, his sixth as a member of the Royals, and his fourth overtime winner of the campaign. Kaspick leads all WHL players with his four extra-time goals.
Going the Distance - Tonight's overtime game was the 16th contest this season for Victoria that went beyond 60 minutes. This surpasses the single season franchise record for most games to go past regulation, which happened in both 2012-13 and 2006-07.
