Prince Albert, SK - Brayden Pachal scored with 50.7 seconds left in overtime to carry the Prince Albert Raiders past the Calgary Hitmen 4-3 on Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

Jordy Stallard led Prince Albert with a goal and two assists pushing the Raiders to their ninth straight win while Vojtech Budik and Curtis Miske also hit the scoresheet.

Mark Kastelic netted a pair for Calgary to reach the 20 goal plateau with Carson Focht adding a single. Tristen Nielsen chipped in two assists to extend his point-scoring-streak to six games.

The Hitmen built period leads of 1-0 and 2-1 before the Raiders stormed the Hitmen net firing 26 third period shots to take a 3-2 lead. Kastelic however forced overtime for the visitors recording a power play marker with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Prince Albert outshot Calgary 44-23 with Matthew Armitage making 40 saves in the loss and Ian Scott 20 stops in the victory.

The Hitmen have now been to overtime in five of their last seven games.

Calgary wraps up their four-game road trip on Tuesday, Mar. 13 in Medicine Hat against the Tigers before returning home the following night on Wednesday, Mar. 14 against the Kootenay ICE. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

The Hitmen will then cap the 2017-18 regular season with a home-and-home set against the Edmonton Oil Kings. It begins Saturday, Mar. 17 at Rogers Place before the return match on Sunday, Mar. 18 at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time is 2:00 p.m. for the finale. It's also Fan Appreciation Day and the Hitmen Player Awards presented by Vision Travel.
