Royals Acquire Draft Pick from Oil Kings

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that the club has acquired a 9^th round pick in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for defenceman Carson Golder (2002).

The Royals have now picked up five draft picks in the last week, including a 7^th round pick, an 8^th round pick, and a 9^th round pick in 2022, a 9^th round pick in 2023, and a 2^nd round pick in 2024.

Golder, a native of Smithers, BC, last played for the Royals during the 2019-2020 season and picked up 2 assists over the course of 50 regular season games.
