WILLMAR- The Willmar Stingers continued their winning ways against the Rox
this season with a 5-2 win at Bill Taunton Stadium.
Andy Henkemeyer and Tony Skjefte, college teammates at Minnesota, each had a pair of hits for St. Cloud. Boo Vazquez (Pittsburgh) had the lone Rox RBI on the night.
Andy Urban (Creighton) pitched all eight innings for the Rox, allowing three earned runs on five hits.
The Rox are in Rochester Friday night for a game against the Honkers at Mayo Field. Their next home game is Rox Logo Baseball Giveaway night on Monday, July 16th, presented by Franklin Outdoor Advertising. The first 250 fans through the gates will receive a baseball.
