ST. CLOUD, MN - The St. Cloud Rox (14-8) dropped Game Two of a doubleheader against the Minnesota Mud Puppies (5-7) with a 3-0 final score, Wednesday, June 21st. In the Great Plains West division, the Rox sit among the top teams in the division.

The starting pitcher for St. Cloud was Aidan Kidd. Kidd went 4.0 innings in his 3rdstart of the season, striking out six batters and giving up just two earned runs. Kidd has 17 strikeouts in 15.0 innings thrown this season, with an ERA of 1.80 ERA.

Ozzie Pratt continues to impress offensively and defensively early in his Rox career, with two hits in three at-bats tonight and turning two double plays. Pratt has hits in six of his eight games played with St. Cloud, with a season batting average of .286 through 28 at-bats. Kyle Jackson reached on a walk in the 4thinning, moving his reached base streak to 18 games. Jackson has 16 hits and 18 walks for St. Cloud this season, both numbers rank among the top five for St. Cloud. Ben Vujovich reached base twice, on a single and a walk. Vujovich has 25 hits on the season, the top mark on the roster and a number that ranks among the top ten in the Northwoods League.

Owen Marsh had another multi-inning relief appearance in his 7thappearance, going 3.0 innings for St. Cloud with three strikeouts and one earned run. Marsh has a 3.60 ERA and 13 strikeouts through 15.0 innings this season. Garrett Mclaughlin had his best outing in a Rox uniform, with 2.0 hitless innings with two strikeouts. This was Mclaughlin's second multi-strikeout outing of the season.

The Rox head on the road for a two-game series against the Willmar Stingers with a 7:05 first pitch tomorrow, June 22nd, starting in Alexandria, MN. The Rox will return home on Sunday, June 25th, for a 4:05 first pitch in the second game of a home-and-home series against the Mankato MoonDogs. At the ballpark, there will be "Books & Baseball"!
