
Rox Rained Out In North Shore

Lynn, MA (August 8, 2007) -- Tonight's Brockton Rox game against the North Shore Spirit has been postponed due to inclement weather. After the Rox failed to score in the top of the first inning, a torrential downpour in the middle of the first inning enveloped the ballpark. The game will be made up Thursday starting at 4:05 PM as part of a doubleheader. The first game will resume in the bottom of the first inning and will be played as a nine-inning regulation game, while the second game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2 and be a seven-inning affair.
LHP Bryan Morse (2-5, 5.02 ERA) starts Game 1 tomorrow and the Rox will send RHP Mike McTamney (3-7, 3.07 ERA) to the hill for the second game which will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. The Rox return home on Friday to play the Quebec Capitales at 7:05 PM at Campanelli Stadium.
