Little Falls, NJ - An onslaught by the Jackals offense, and the arms of Kevin Ool, Kyle George, and Demetrius Banks, led New Jersey to a lopsided 9-0 win over the Worcester Tornadoes setting up Thursday evening's rubber match. Worcester managed just two hits in the ballgame.

Ool was sensational in his first start as a Jackal. He allowed just two hits in seven stellar inning, en route to his first win of 2007. He walked three, struck out five, and hit two batters. George and Banks combined to blank Worcester in the eighth and ninth innings respectively.

Following a nine minute first inning, the Jackals used a two-run homerun by Clyde Williams in the bottom of the second to take an early 2-0 lead.

It took till the bottom of the fifth for the Jackals to score again, and it came in the form of a two-out, RBI double by Sandy Madera.

They doubled their lead in the bottom of the seventh. A two-out, RBI single by Francisco Leandro gave way to a two-run bomb by Madera. New Jersey led 6-0 through seven complete, and blew open the ballgame in the eighth.

The Jackals added three more runs off of Worcester reliever Mike Meagher, making the score 9-0. The trio of runs ended the run scoring barrage by New Jersey.

The loss went to Worcester's Matt Weagle. In six innings, he scattered five hits, leading to three runs, only two of the, being earned.
