BROCKTON – The Brockton Rox are pleased to announce a new partnership between the team and Mo Vaughn and the Hit Dog Training and Fitness Center. Vaughn will be at Campanelli Stadium for the Rox game vs. the New Jersey Jackals on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new ‘Mo Zone.'

Vaughn and Hitdog have donated to the Rox two Hitaway Baseball batting aids, which will be set up in the Mo Zone inside the Kids' Zone at Campanelli Stadium. Fans will be able to step into the Hitaway batting cages before and during Rox home games to test their batting skills.

"We are thrilled to launch this new venture with Mo Vaughn and Hitdog," said Rox general manager David Sacchetti. "Mo has always been extremely generous to the local community, and we are very happy to have him as part of our team."

Vaughn was drafted in the first round by the Boston Red Sox in 1989 and played for the big-league club from 1991-98.
