Oklahoma City recaptured the lead in the sixth inning. After an Avans single, C Tony Wolters was hit by a pitch. The two moved into scoring position as Avans stole third base and Wolters found second on a wild pitch. 2B Michael Busch singled away from the shift to send his teammate home for a 6-4 advantage.
Dodgers 3B Miguel Vargas smashed a solo home run to open the seventh inning. In the next at-bat, Lamb made it back-to-back bombs on a solo home run to center field.
The Dodgers added two more runs in the seventh inning. With RF Jason Martin on third base and Avans on second, Wolters hit a two-RBI single that extended the lead to 10-4. The score stood final as the Express were unable to close the gap.
