The Round Rock Express scored seven runs in the seventh inning to come from behind and defeat the Zephyrs 11-8 on Wednesday night in front of 8,254 fans at The Dell Diamond.
The back and fourth contest had the Zephyrs take the lead scoring six runs in the sixth inning.
The Express answered with seven in the seventh inning.
The
New Orleans
bullpen walked four batters and hit a batter in the seventh to give up the lead.
Adalberto Mendez suffered the defeat and TJ Burton earned the win.
Scott Cousins led the Z's with three hits and two RBI.
Brian Bogusevic drilled a three run home run and and had three hits for the Express.
Game Notes- The Florida Marlins promoted catcher Brad Davis and pitcher Jorge Sosa from the Zephyrs prior to Wednesday's game.
Coming Up: The Zephyrs and Express will meet in the final game of the four game set on Thursday night at 7.
New Orleans
will start LH Sean West (3-3, 3.50) against LH Andy VanHekken (6-6, 3.99).
