Round Rock Express Home Opener Suspended Due to Rain

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express home opener against the Memphis Redbirds on Friday, April 17 has been suspended due to inclement weather in the area. The game will be resumed on Sunday, April 19 at 1:05 p.m. with the originally scheduled Sunday game to follow 30 minutes after the completion of game one. Game two will be a seven inning game. Saturday is still scheduled for a 6:05 p.m. first pitch.

The Express led the Redbirds 3-1 before the game was suspended with one out in the bottom of the second inning. Express OF Michael Choice hit a three-run home run in the first inning to give Round Rock the lead, scoring Thomas Field and Tomas Telis.

Fans may redeem their ticket from tonight's game for any future 2015 Express home game by visiting the Express ticket office starting tomorrow at 10 a.m.

The Express and Redbirds continue their series tomorrow night at 6:05 p.m. Bob Schneider will perform after the game to kick off the St. David's Summer Concert Series, presented by Dell. For tickets and more information, visit www.RoundRockExpress.com.
